Magma donates an Amazon Echo Dot to Brixworth Centre Pre School

With Amazon releasing the new Echo Dot to much acclaim, and with some of the exciting things it can do we decided to see how it could help us in everyday life even down to trying it out as a work utensil. Its ability to automate many tasks from just speaking to it, means that being able to create to do lists, order items or set reminders, and ask it questions make it an interesting proposition to have on your office desk. Whilst many people will point out that Siri/Cortana may already do this the Echo Dot seems to make life a lot simpler and with its integration to Amazon’s back end service, getting Alexa to play music, switch your home security on and off, or controlling your lightbulbs just make it a total no brainer and at £50 its a must buy.
When Magma was approached by the local Brixworth Centre Pre School to offer a prize for the Christmas Raffle, sticking to our core beliefs of being original and thinking differently we didn’t hesitate in giving them an Echo Dot as a Prize.
